Upgrade from BE6K to Enterprise UCM Licensing

Hello Team,

I have an inquiry about upgrading licenses from BE6K based CUCM to Enterprise CUCM. (I'm not talking about hardware nor software, just the licensing upgrade path component).

Let's say my customer has 1000 licenses and he is going to buy the 1001st license (it's going to be a UCL Enhanced).

What do I need to order to migrate BE6000 to Enterprise UCM ?

Is there anything I need apart from ordering it the 1001st license from R-UCL-UCM-LIC-K9 => 1 x LIC-CUCM-10X-ENH-B ?

Hi Amine,

As u have mentioned about upgrade , if u have ESW/UCSS contract then, u can place order though PUT to get licenses for desired upgraded version else , u need to buy migration licenses R-UCL-UCM-MIG-K9  which is Top Level SKU along with IP phone enhannced license [MIG-CUCM-ENH-B] since number of users are more than 1000

For purchasing , new licenses R-UCL-UCM-LIC-k9 and LIC-CUCM-10X-ENH-B is fine . You also need to consider SWSS support for future upgrades for these users as well.

In fact the version perfectly matches, SWSS is valid, and the customer is already in V11, we just need an addon license.

So I understand here that I don't need any thing special to migrate from BE6K to UCM, just order the addon license from R-UCL-UCM-LIC-k9.

Because on the migration from the old UWL BE 8.x to UWL STD 8.x (means upgrade from BE6K to regular UCM), we were supposed to order L-UWLMIGCUWLBE-STD for this.
