Upgrade from CUCM 7.1(5) to 8.x

Hi,

One of my customer looking for migration from CUCM 7.1(5) to Version 8.x I am yet not sure which specific flavor of Version 8.x should i move to.

There are 5 Subscriber and 1 Publisher along with CUPS, Unity Server, IPCC Express, ARC servers, ISR gateways ang VG2XX gateways.

I need to find out which version of 8.x will be suitable and hardware and software impacts i need to figure out before migration.

Summary: CUCM 8.x would rather like 146GB HDs in your servers.

You can only go to 8.5(x). Review the compatibility matrix from the link.
