Hi guys!
Ive received the upgrade kit for CUCM 8.5 with part number CM8.5-K9-UPG= CUCM 8.5 Upgrade for PUT only. There is an upgrade DVD, an installation DVD. Does the installation DVD is for a full version install? The situation is the following, Im going to upgrade a CUCM 8.0 and a Unity 8.0 to 8.5, but I have third server that Im having problems to install it as the subscriber in version 8 because of secret password problem or communication with publisher. I already reseted the secret on Publisher but still the Subscriber is unable to establish trust with Publisher. Im planing to upgrade the Puiblisher and Unity to 8.5 and then do a fresh install of 8.5 into the third server but as a Subscriber. I want to be sure that with this upgrade kit I will be able to do a full instalation of version 8.5 on the third server as a Subscriber.
Thanks in advanced!

I did applied the patch to the version 8.0(3.11001.3), resetted the secret once again but problem persists. Any other aspect to check besides ip connectivity, hostname and secret password match? Im going to upgrade to 8.5 but not sure if problem will persist. Thanks.

Hi Nephtali,
If it were me I would open a TAC case to get this resolved prior to upgrading
to 8.5
Cheers!
Rob
