upgrading cme gui files

I have just upgraded my cisco ios to 12.4(15T) but my cme-gui files are still on the router's flash. If I just extract the new cme-gui tar files into flash will it automatically overwrite the old gui files or should i take another approach, such as deleting the old gui files from flash first?

Its been a while but if you extract new ones it will overwrite. you may want to copy the old one as back any way.
