Hi Everybody,
We did a manual upgrade of CUC 9.1 to CUC 10.5.2 and the upgrade process was successful, the version was automatically changed to 10.5.2 without giving utils system switch-version command.
We then tried switching the version back to 9.1 and it is also done successfully, But when we tried to switch again to CUC 10.5.2 via CLI we faced an error saying "ERROR: Sync after switch version failed". Is it not adviceable to switch version in CUC after upgrade?
Please drop in your valuable suggestion to overcome this issue

Hi Chandhya,
Can you confirm if you used PCD for this upgrade, since PCD is not supported for upgrade from 9.x to 10.x version as per the following bug
https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCuo77634/?reffering_site=dumpcr
If this is not the case then can you confirm if you also have a Unity Connection subscriber and if that was upgraded as well?

Hi Manish,
PCD is not used in this upgade process, it is done via CUC CLI. And there is only one publisher CUC running, there is no subscriber.

Hi Chandhya,
If there is only one Unity Connection server and no stale entries of Unity Connection servers anywhere then you'll need to collect the install logs from Unity Connection to look for any issues there.
