Upload the Multiserver SAN Certificate.

Hi ,

Recently I downloaded CSR for Multiserver  SAN certificate for Tomcat services, i sent to CA team then I got back the certificatefrom them.

Just I wanna know proper procedure for uploading Multiserver SAN certificate for Tomcat service. Also , i have following doubt,

1. Can I do it on working hours, it will give any impact for the telephony services.

2.If i upload Multiserver SAN certificate on Publisher., it will automaticaly syncronise/reflect to other subscribers??? other wise i should upload all the subscribers seperatly..???

If there is any neat document about this, can share..

Regards

AZ.

Below doc consits the detailed steps to upload the certificate, and yes, do it in afterhours as CM service restart is required on all nodes post installation of ceritificates.

AZ,

1. Can I do it on working hours, it will give any impact for the telephony services.

Yes, you can do this in working hours unless you have services like EM or others that rely on Cisco Tomcat being used in your environment during that time when you restart Tomcat service.

If the above is not the case, feel free to restart Cisco Tomcat in production hours

2. 2.If i upload Multiserver SAN certificate on Publisher., it will automaticaly syncronise/reflect to other subscribers??? other wise i should upload all the subscribers seperatly..???

Yes, it will automaticaly syncronise/reflect to other subscribers. You just need to upload that to the publisher CM, that is the main benefit you get with SAN certificates that you do not need to upload them on every individiaul subcriber server, just the publisher server and you are done.

Note : You will still need to restart Cisco Tomcat on all the servers in cluster including all the subscriber servers

Refer to below posts fore more reference on this:
