URL directory error "host not found"

Im getting this error message in Cisco IP Phones 7911 and 7962 registered in CUCME. But in same cucme, Cisco IP communicator is able to show the corporate directory.

Any clue?

Hi,

there is a restriction for java phones when using external directories

"Configuring external directory service only works with non-Java based phones. Any Java based phone will display duplicate directories for the following:

-Missed

–Received

–Placed"

actually i faced a problem like that before with CME, and it was solved after firmware upgrade.

Can you be more specifi and tell me exact firmware details since i have tried 3 different firmwares but this showing duplicate missed call, placed calls nadreceived call and not showing coporate directory

Actually it was with IP Phones 69xx series.

you can check the release notes for the firmware you want to upgrade to. or give me the current firmware with the problem and i will suggest a good one for you.
