Hello,

I have configured the extension mobility and my CUCM is integrated with AD, authentication is also done by AD everything working perfect. what is the PIN for the user when he wants to login,, and also how can i set a PIN for 500 users.

My network has 8941 phone i want to implement softkey template how can i do that.

The PIN is configured in CUCM and you should have configured the default PIN under credential policy defaul for that purpose.

How to configure a phone is always covered in the administration guides, might want to look at them in first place

Dear

I changed the default but still not accepting, i have changed the default credential policy PIN. I hope this is the correct TAB to change.

I have been through the administration guide jaime but it is not in effect.

I hav created a new softkey by coying the existing standard and doing modicfication in the copied, after that i apply the softkey template to a phone but no effect, i have reset the phone but still  it shows me the same softkey buttons, selfview,forward all,etc,etc.

Any body can help where things are going wrong with me.

Hi

The 'default credentail policy' applies to users when they are created. Since you are already integrated to AD, the users have already all been created - they are 'created' when AD syncs.

So the 'default' that was previously configured would apply to users already in AD, but if you create a new one, then it will get your 'new' default.

What you can do is:

1) For one user, go to End User management and just update the PIN for that account.

2) For allusers, go to Bulk Administration/Users/Reset Password&PIN/Query - that will allow you to just click 'Find' then Next to select all users and update them.

3) If you want to do specific users you can use the Update Users spreadsheet and the Bulk Administration/Users/Update Users option, but that is more complex.
