user programmable speed dial buttons

Is it possible to have user programmable speed dial buttons on an 8841 phone without having to go to a webpage?

Yes, with FW 12.1+

Caveat is they're NOT synced with CUCM, they can be overwritten by CUCM configured speed dials (CUCM has no idea of them) and even by EM if they're used by they phone button template.

 

I suggest they keep managing the speed dials via selfcare portal.
