We have Unity Connection v8.5 and CUCM version v8.5. Most users receive an email when they get a voicemail. However, some users do not. I am by no means an expert in Unity so I am not sure what settings in the user profile actually tell Unity Connection to send an email to the user's inbox. The users email address is listed in the corporate email section of the user basics. Also, the user's username is correct in the SMTP address field (which automatically fills in @unityservername.domainname. If the SMTP address is listed as @unityserver then there has to be another field that tells the unity server where to forward mail, but I'm not sure. The Unity Connection cluster is synchronized with the LDAP directory. All users are imported from the CUCM cluster.

I think the problem is the unified messaging account. However when I tried to "add new" it stated a license issue... Still working this but I think I have fixed the main problem.

That fixed the issue, you also had to change the CoS setting under user basics.
