Hello,
I have a customer for whom I am deploying CUCM 9.1 and integrating with Active Directory.
They have populated the ipPhone field using numbers in the format 123-4567.
CUCM imports the users and from the Help page it seems that the "-" character is supported, as are "(" and ")", but I want to check whether using numbers in this format is likely to cause any issues.
FYI they will also be using Jabber and are not willing to move to E.164 DNs.

Dashes and parenthesis are OK and will be ignored by CUCM when the number is dialed.

Chris

Thanks Chris,
My worry was that Jabber or other product would not be compatible.

No problem there either as it is ultimately CUCM that dials the number.
