Can anybody clarify me the major difference between the VCS control & expressway?

Hi,
The VCS Control cluster is the primary call processing solution for endpoints deployed on the internal or corporate network.
The VCS Expressway cluster is used as the registration point for endpoints deployed outside of the organization’s autonomous network (e.g. the Internet). The Expressway is also used to facilitate firewall traversal between the VCS Control and Expressway.

Thanks Manish,
So you mean that if i have a vcs control,my branch video endpoint can register & make a internal call without VCS-E.

Yes, that would be possible, including calls to devices registered on cucm as described in the following link
