Hi,
my customer has the following:
CUCM version 7.0.2.20000-5 running on an MCS7835-H1 with 2g ram and 2 x 72g HDD. They want to retain the hardware and move to any Cisco supported CUCM, i.e., version 8 or 9 (?) in order to be able to raise a TAC case.
My question is: will they be able to get Cisco support in place with the hardware that they have?
Many thanks.

It depends exactly what you want them to troubleshoot, if the server is out of support, they will not assist on that regards, if you want support for CUCM, and the server is still a valid platform for the version you want to install, then yes, but only CUCM.

Hi Jamie, many thanks for your prompt reply.
I just need to know if we upgrade to 9.1 on the customers MCS-7835-H1 that the customer can receive Cisco TAC support even though the MCS-7835-H1 is not supported.
Many thanks, John.
