VG224 Lightning port burning Issue

Hi ,

We are facing a lightning issue with VG224 and we have to replace the VG224 like every two months due to a few port burns in the device. (like 2-3 ports),

This problem might have happend to you as well in previous cases and wereyou able to propose a suitable lightning protector for this ?

I am looking for such a lightning protector and voltage details that VG224 minumly should provide to the analog phone ,

Highly appriciate your support on this ,

Please advice

Thanks

As you suggested, lightning protects can be used. E.g.

However the practical question is where to get them, that's why I suggested that you search locally.

These devices and their availability do vary by country. So you should sheck with some telecom equipment specialist shop.

thanks for the reply Paolo,

Actually I posted this here having the mind that this  is not the first time that it occurs, assuming more engineers have faced a  similler kind of issue with their deployement..and interested to know  how they resolved the issues at that time ,

Thanks
