We are looking at CDR records created by CallManager and noticed there are lots of records that show vg224 ports (with analog phones) coming off-hook several consecutive times. The CDR record shows an analog phone with original called party number, final called party number, and terminating device name, with no data. The call duration is also zero. We are seeing several vg224 ports (with analog phones) doing this during the middle of the night (1:00am-4:00am). Does anyone have any thoughts as to why CallManager is creating these CDR records?

I think you have the service parameter 'CDR Log Calls With Zero Duration Flag' set to true which makes cucm log calls even if the handset goes offhook/onhook without dialing. If you don't need it, you can set to default value which is false

Thank for the information about the service paramater. But, what would cause an analog phone connected to the vg224 to go off/on hook by itself in the middle of the night?
