VG224 SCCP using Loopback

I know there are a few old posts regarding this subject but wanted to get some newer input and just need a little clarification.  I was wanting to configure my VG224 with redundant paths to the network so utilizing a loopback address for binding voip traffic to.  I was also wanting to utilize SCCP for SRST and other advantages stated elsewhere.  However, the SCCP configuration in CUCM needs a MAC Address and the Loopback obviously does not have one so what are my options these days?

I know with MGCP I could bind it to the loopback and the protocol is hostname based anyway so MAC address does not factor there.

Any ideas?

Shane

You can use a loopback address to reach VG224 (probably not necessary, better would be a BVI comprising the two LANs), and that will not affect the SCCP MAC addresses. These are indipendent things.
