VG224 SRST and SRST line mode

Hi,

Does any one know if a VG224 using SCCP will register using only single line mode?

I have a 3845 and only want VG224 ports to be single line mode to preserve ephone-dn ports and allow IP phones register using dual-line mode. This will maximize features for IP handsets especially reception working with multiple calls.The SRST does not seem to have a command to allow specific line mode by handset/endpoint model.

Hi Heathrw,

Single-line ephone-dns are required for certain features such as intercom, paging, and message-waiting indication (MWI)

Can we try the following:

1. enable

2. configure terminal

3. telephony-service

4. srst dn line-mode {dual | dual-octo | octo | single}
