Hello, this is my first post and I'll do my best to provide the information needed. Also, please let me know if I submitted this post on the wrong category

I'm trying to update the firmware of a VG224 however I have not been successful. I want to install the following file:
vg224-i6k9s-mz.151-4.M10.bin and the current file is vg224-i6s-mz.124-13b.bin
I got the file through TFTP, however since the device does not have flash I used the following syntax
"copy tftp slot0:"
I verified that the file was transferred as did the following syntax
Directory of slot0:/
1 -rw- 1111 Mar 1 2002 00:07:16 +00:00 slot0
2 -rw- 14850584 Aug 9 2002 02:13:08 +00:00 vg224-i6s-mz.124-13b.bin
3 -rw- 28847156 May 5 2012 18:53:18 +00:00 vg224-i6k9s-mz.151-4.M2.bin
4 -rw- 1111 Mar 1 2002 00:02:26 +00:00 vg224-i6k9s-mz.151-4.M10.bin <--Here it is
However, when I do a reboot, I keep getting the following error during boot
Readonly ROMMON initialized
boot: cannot open "flash:"
an alternate boot helper program is not specified
(monitor variable "BOOTLDR" is not set)
and unable to determine first file in bootflash
loadprog: error - on file open
boot: cannot load "slot4:vg224-i6k9s-mz.151-4.M10.bin"
As a result, the system image remains as vg224-i6s-mz.124-13b.bin
I'm fairly new to this process, and I need assistance. Please let me know if you need additional information.
Also, I recently did a factory reset on the device, that explains the incorrect dates.

Found the solution; turns on the source where I got the system file was bad. Made sure to download it correctly and this time it worked. If you see the file size of the system file compared to the rest in the list, you can see the size doesn't look right.
Also to answer my other question, to tell the system what file to boot you do the following
config t
boot system slot0:vg224-i6k9s-mz.151-4.M10.bin
end
wr mem
reload

Look at the "location" of the directory: It is "slot0:".

Look at the "location" of the boot variable string: It is pointing to "slot4:".
It's like a Pizza Hut delivery going "I'm here at this address but I can't find the house/building."

Thank you for your feedback. I see your point, however how do I make the device boot from the correct slot? As mentioned, I'm fairly new to this technology.
