Greetings
Would appreciate any help
Key Details:
- I have a Cisco VG320 running on software version 15.9(3)M1, equipped with 2 x 24 FXS voice interface cards.
- There are currently 2 Analog handsets connected. Verified by show voice-port summary. They show as off hook when the handset is picked up
Objective:
- Set up the 2 voice ports so that the 2 analog phones can make internal calls to each other via a direct port-to-port connection.
Once again my thanks for any help....

CUCM is ordered.
In the mean time I needed the analog phones to make internal calls to each other.
I have had a win by setting up a pair of dial-peers.
Below works in so far as I can no call 1005 from 1006 and vice versa.
Problem solved.....
dial-peer voice 110050 pots
description Port 0/0/5
destination-pattern 1005
port 0/0/5
!
dial-peer voice 110060 pots
description Port 0/0/6
destination-pattern 1006
port 0/0/6

Are you planning on using any call control system with the VG? If you do the answer to your question depends upon what control protocol you intend to use. If you’re not planning on using any control system it would be simply configuring dial peers in the VG to enable calls between the phones.
