voice gateway - where are my dsp resources???

Hi all,

I have a C2821 configured as VoiceGateway, connecting to PSTN by E1 PRI. But the problem is that when I configured "pri-group timeslot 1-31" under the controller E1, the router said that I have not enough DSP resources avaiable, the DSP resources are only enough for 28 timeslots (I have a PVDM2-32, and the codec complexity is Flex - default config).

Could anyone explain this for me?

do u have FXO card in ur 2821 GW?

so if u have VIC2-4FXO card (that is 4 ports FXO) each port will use one value of PVDM2-32 (let's say for clarification: PVDM2-32 - PVDM2-4 = PVDM2-28 remaining)!
