Voice GW incoming calling number is anonymous

Hello

i have a question..i use a 3945 gateway to connect ISP use pri E1

but i find when the calling number is calling number i=0x21A3 , the gateway will change the number to anonymous.

how can i change the config to resolve the problem.

Hi,

The gateway is changing to anonymous. You can see the number leaving your gateway in Q931 Setup message. At the called endpoint, if the calling number is coming as anonymous, then your telco is overriding the number as they aren't receiving it in the expected format. You need to log a call with your telco  to understand how they need to see the calling number. Then you can perform digit manipulation.

when i call PSTN number from my internal phone ,the PSTN number can display the right number .

and i see the log ,most of the call from PSTN the calling number i= 2183, and can display calling number ,but when the i= 21A3,the calling number is anonymous 

what means the value？？

0x21A3 is equivalent to ISDN Protocol, National, Screening Unknown, Network Provided.

What kind of environment do you have CUCM/CME, SIP/H323/MGCP, etc?
