voice service voip cmds disappear on reload

Running 12.4XJ3 code for CME on a 2811. The system is not online 24x7, but rather on an as-needed basis. When the system is powered up the startup config seems to be dropping the voice service voip command and all child commands on reboot.

We've done the wr mem / copy run start thing several times. The issue continues to reoccur with each power cycle. This was also occuring in 12.4XJ.

Has anyone else seen this? Is this the intended action?

Hi, not normal. I have a 2801 with 12.4(11)XJ3 and it came back from a power fault with all the "voice service voip" commands.

Now, when you do wr mem, and then do "show startup-config", are the commands in there? And after power-cycle, are in there ?

The commands are present in the startup-config. The config register is 2102.

Hello,

I would suggest you observe the boot process with serial console to see if any error or message is thrown. Failing that I would seek advice from the TAC as this should not happen.
