We have a number of users in India that connect directly to a Cisco VoIP system in the US with their VoIP phones. They connect over a MPLS circuit and there is nothing between their phone and the Cisco VoIP system in the US. I have heard recently that the OSP changed something and maybe this is no longer allowed and that you need to first connect to a local India system and then "gateway" to the US. Has anyone else heard this?
Thanks.

Personally I was always told that India didn't allow TEHO.

That's correct, that's the reason geolocation configuration is required for India.
