WebEx APP messaging and Presence

Hi,

 

We are adding WebEx APP to our users on our CUCM

We are adding this like Jabber configuration [CSF, BOT & TCT]

 

Will this provide chat and presence to our users or they should have subscription acount on WebEx ?

As I think adding this on CUCM only should provide only Calling function

The chat/messaging functionality and presence information, apart from line state, comes from the Webex cloud service.

So Each user should have webex subscription. This can't be with Free account !

I think that you could use a free account, but I've never done so myself so I have no first hand experience on the matter. However you should know that presence is only shown within the organization, so with free accounts I doubt that you'd get much in the form of presence.
