What is the difference between PVDM4-32 and PVDM4-32U64 ? PVDM4-32U64 is same as PVDM4-64 ? Can we relocate this to E1/T1 Card from motherboard ?
We have got one Router ordered with PVDM4-32U64 , it has one PVDM4-32 on Motherboard which we have successfully relocated to E1 card . But we were expecting it to be a PVDM4 with 64 channels .
Normal searching is only giving information about PVDM . not the Upgradable PVDMs.
Thanks in advance .

They are the same, PVDM4-32U64 is simply a part number to upgrade bundled PVDM4-32 to PVDM4-64 which you may want based on your requirements and since ISR4K have only 1 PVDM slot on the motherboard. It's basically cheaper than getting the bundled PVDM4-32 and then replacing with PVDM4-64.

Thanks for the responses. Let me re-phrase my query .
1.If I order PVDM4-32U64 what I will get ? a PVDM4-64 (physical board) ? or a PVDM4-32 ? or a Mother board built in with PVDM4-32 and later on can add another PVDM4-32 to make it 64 channels.
The word factory upgrade is pointing some thing that it comes with some thing already modified from the factory ?
Following are GPL which I 'm unable to comprehend :
PVDM4-64 | $3400.00 |
PVDM4-32 | $1700.00 |
PVDM4-32U64 | $1600.00 | PVDM4 32-channel to 64-channel factory upgrade |

If you order PVDM4-32U64 the router will come with PVDM4-64 installed on the single available PVDM slot. The bundle comes with PVDM4-32 which is built into the price of the bundle, spending extra $1600 gets you upgraded to PVDM4-64 so you save a lot since if you have only one slot and you cannot just add another PVDM4-32 onto the motherboard and buying all new PVDM4-64 would cost you $3400 and you would be left with the PVDM4-32 that already came with the bundle.

Well Thanks Deren. Now making sense to me. This works with ISR 4331-V/K9 bundle, which includes a PVDM4-32 already and when you add an upgrade it provides you with PVDM4-64
I was confused as the ordering was a Plain ISR 4331/K9 with PVDM4-32U64 and UC license. This resulted in ISR with PVDM4-32 not 64 . which I think OK seeing the cost.

The "U" means "UPGRADE". So this means PVDM4-32 upgrade kit to a PVDM4-64.
