Hi - for years I have been told that Cat5e cabling is required for Cisco Unified Communications phones. Is there a technical issue requiring Cat5e or will Cat5 (which does support PWe have a site that is a mix of Cat5 and Cat5e cables going from patch panel to RJ45 jacks. Will there be issues using the Cat5 cabling in running/powering the phones? Thanks!
