will mcs7815 support Unity connectionn 7.1

Some one is giving us a mcs7815 tower server, we are a poor school district, and we want to use it as a backup server for Unity Connectionn 7.1.  It will not be up all the time, only if our Primary Server, It is a MCS7825, fails and untill we can replace or repair it. First question: will it work? Second question:  Do I need a seperate license?  Any help will be greatly appeiciated.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news here but....

The 7815 will not work here When installing Unity Connection there is a very

stringent hardware check that will not pass with the 7815;

The recommendation for Unity Connection clusters is that both servers are identical or

at least equal in their capabilities. You would require a HA (High Availability) license as

well as a license for the subscriber and new subscriber VM port licenses as well.
