Wireless 7921 phone Authentication required error

Hi,

I have a client with 7921 phone , when he plugs-in the phone , the display shows "Authentication required" . I have checked all the settings of the phone and compared to other phones in the network but couldn't find anytrhing.

Please let me know if there anything I am missing here.

Does the error read " Authentication Required " or " Authentication Failed " ?

It says "Authentication required" but I'm not sure where to look for because the other 7921's are using the same SSID and are working without any issues

Thanks for the confirmation.

Is this plain CUCM setup or also any contact center involved ?

If it's plain CUCM phone, is it registering with CUCM after the error ? Similar issues were fixed in past by upgrading firmware & fixing the incorrect VLAN config, if any.

If UCCX is involved then, there is one more step required to fix it.

Pls confirm if it's UCCX with IPPA used on 7921 ?

Actually the issue has been resolved. It was their internal issue
