We need to propose an alternative to the Xmedius gateway in case of unavailability for some incoming fax. I create a top-down Route Group where I put the Xmedius Gateway and a VG port connected to a fax machine.
For the purpose of the the test, we stop some Xmedius services and send a fax to a test number. Sending a fax to this number failed while the Xmedius gateway did not answer giving no tone (or blank) before going to the fax machine (tested by calling with a phone this number). I'm trying to figure if sender fax machine fail to deliver the fax because of a No Answer purpose or the cascade timeout takes to long time for the fax machine !?
Anyone have a clue about this, there's some settings I can modify to get a B Plan in case Xmedius become unavailable ??
