CUCM 8.5
Xmediusfax ver 6.5
MGCP Gateway
CenturyLink PRI
Some faxes failing. It's only about 5% of the total but these are customers and I need to fix it.
We had this problem early on and Xmedius tech support and Cisco TAC were able to fix most of it by changing the "gain" setting on the pri.
It's set as low as possible but I still have some customers that I cannot get faxes from. I can reroute the faxes to a standard fax machine off of a VG224 and they come through fine.
Xmedius tech support has said it's a setting in the MGCP gateway relating to fax rate but I'm not sure what to look at.

I have a very similar issue to this one. Ours is mostly for outbound faxes, but we also have this issue for inbound.
I still haven't been able to resolve it. Maybe you'll have more luck, this was the thread i opened : https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/4052509#4052509
What error code are you getting from XMedius ?
Our failure rate is about 3%-4%
