I have tried enable ipv6 on the interface level, same. I have tried enable ipv6 at the global level, same. Non of the exe commands like ping or tracert have IPv6 options or counter parts (ping6 tracert6)
Kind of got me stumped here as IPv6 should have been support back in 12.4 on this platform.
What am I missing?

HI John,
IPv6 is not supported in the Advanced Security feature set, you need the Advanced IP services. For the complete list of feature set which support IPv6, please check with the feature navigator.

Have you entered the "ipv6 unicast-routing" command in the configuration?
Do you have it?

In global config mode "ipv" is a unrecognized command, so no, not available.
