I have alot of logs in my routers stating that ipv6 nd has exceeded the cache limit.

I'm trying to find any relevant information about IP-IPV6_ND-4-WARNING_CACHE_LIMIT_HIT but there are non to find.

The logs indicates cache limit problem with several interfaces in the router.

I see no impact on the services but I wan't to know what is going on.

The hardware is Cisco ASR9922 and software is 6.5.3

I have this configured on the interface
interface TenGigE0/7/0/12 ipv6 nd cache-limit 10

No global cache limit ( not sure you can do that in XR )

No not really any help

As stated the limitation on the interface is not what triggers the alarm as far as I can see it.

Limit on interface is 10 but the alarm says that something has exceeded 1000.
