I was wondering if there is any way to change the RENEW timer on my cisco. Has happened that because my ADSL was down, the router didn't send the RENEW and my subnet is changed

Thank you!

Hi there,

The RENEW value is derived from the T1 value sent in the IA_NA option (https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc3315#section-22.4). As your router is the client in this scenario you cannot alter it.

You can however release and renew your lease:

enable
clear ipv6 dhcp client dialer 1

cheers,

Seb.
