Hello!

Is it possible to mark IPv6 traffic with DSCP on SCE8000 with latest SCOS 3.8.5?

Hi there,

According to this one:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/cable/serv_exch/serv_control/broadband_app/rel38x/swcfg8000_10gbe/Line_Interface.html#wp1062433

it seems that it is supported only for IPv4.

If I find something different I will post it.

Thanks,

Minja

Thank you for the reply, Minja.

I faced with such issue: after upgrade to SCOS 3.8.5 users cannot get access to IPv6 Internet.

Workaround: disable traffic marking for services in the customer's package or turn on the bypass for IPv6 traffic.

Hi Vladimir,

It is difficult to say what could happened. Anyway if you bypass IPv6 I guess everything will be fine, but it will be difficult to troubleshoot.

I can only suggest to read docs about sce8000 3.8.x to make sure that you configured and checked all the things relevant for IPv6.

And the best would be if you have another box where you can reproduce this and troubleshoot step by step.

I think for this one the best would be to open a case since we can start guessing what was wrong since now issue is not present.

Thanks,

Minja
