OSPFv3 IPv6 and Route Tagging

Hi,

Has anybody figured out how to tag a ipv6 route when its originated under the interface as follows... I'm on a Cisco ASA running 9.1.

interface Port-channel1.500

description Test

vlan 100

nameif Test

security-level 5

ip address x.x.x.1 standby x.x.x.x2

ipv6 address x:x:x:x:x:x:x:1/64 standby x:x:x:x:x:x:x:2

ipv6 enable

ipv6 ospf 1 area 1 instance 1

If i go under the 'ipv6 router ospf' process and do something like the following (below) the connected interfaces are not propagated into OSPF. The only ways i can propagate the connected IPv6 interfaces into OSPF is by adding 'ipv6 ospf 1 area 1 instance 1' under the interface but there's no way of tagging the route.

ipv6 router ospf 1

router-id x.x.x.1

redistribute connected metric-type 1 tag 500

log-adjacency-changes

Any ideas?

No limitations are mentioned in the command reference:

You can also try summary prefix:

Depending on your setup obviously.

I would however suggest opening a TAC case to get this look into, I made a *quick* check myself but could not find anything matching exactly.

I've seen the summary prefix, this may be possible. WIll have a look.
