Recent config change?

Earlier this month I was able to dial endpoints registered to my VCS from my free Jabber account by dialing in the form: user@ip_address_of_my_vcs

I'm now not able to do this.  The calls aren't even reaching my VCS now.  Has there been a recent config/security change?

Other than registering my VCS in DNS properly (which I'm in the process of doing), is there a work-around or verification that this is a config change on free Jabber?
