The Jabber video 4.6 does not work with the new Maverick OS X from Apple. They just released the GM seed to developer and the camera does not connect.
Anyone has this problem?
I have this problem as well. I tried with the built-in camera also tested with the precision HD camera and no dice.
1. Updated the camera's firmware on the precision hd.
2. Tried a older vesion of the Jabber client.
Cisco Jabber 4.7 will support OS X M, which will be available for download on 10-18-13.
Could you post the download url? I can't find it in the download page of Cisco Jabber (still has the 4.6 version).
I have same problem, and since you mentioned that it will be available for download today (October 18, 2013), but I don't find the Cisco Jabber 4.7, do you have link or where can I find this version?
There was a delay in getting the software posted. Once it's available I will provide the link.
Now that Maverick is available, is 4.7 going to be released? Or at least a beta of 4.7 so people with new hardware and or the new OS aren't completely without an option?
Not to beat a dead horse, but this update is needed ASAP. Had I known there would be an issue with Jabber I wouldn't have upgraded to OS X M, but there's no going back now. Do we at least have an ETA?
I called and talked to three different people and no one seemed to have any idea of any update or any problem. Is there anyway to get a beta of 4.7? This is really problematic--especially since it appears that Cisco has known about this issue since June when people first started mentioning it in the forum.
Can we please get some type of response on when this will be available? Or better yet a link to at least a beta?
Can you please provide an ETA on version 4.7? There were no compatability warnings with Maverick so my whole team is without a solution. The same thing happened with the any connect VPN client
Found that anyconnect-macosx-i386-3.1.04072-k9.dmg addes support for 10.9 if you have not tried it yet.
