Hello,
we're using CUCM 12.5 with Jabber as CTI-Client and Softphone.
Jabber Users are synced from LDAP (AD).
We have multiple Users that share a single phone number from the same Department -> all Users have the same phone number in their AD Account.
Jabber uses the name of the last created User for Caller ID Presentation.
Is there a way to set the Caller ID Presentation of a single phone number to a fixed name (eg. Department Name)?
regards
Thomas

Not really as Jabber will query it’s directory source at the time of an inbound call to show whom is calling. If you have multiple users set with the same directory number the way it works is that it would use the first received account to present the name. Meaning that this would present random information.

You can set the Caller ID presentation in the line configuration of each user's Jabber device in CUCM. You do have to do this on each appearance of the line, but if you do so on one and save it, you can then scroll down, check the boxes to update on shared devices, and then click the "Propagate Selected" to push to all shared line appearances.
