I was asked for a specific configuration in JABBER 12.9 which I am not sure is possible!!!!

Example-I have 3 jobs in a company-in sales, HR and Accounting. I have  Jabber account and I want to join all 3 groups. However, on a given day, if I am working in Sales I only wants to see messages belongs to Sales NOT for HR and Accounting. Is this possible in Jabber? 

My 2nd question is-can I create Jabber access for users if they do not have an AD account? Thanks

No, Jabber has no idea about your jobs, you're an user as anyone else as far as IM&P and Jabber are concerned and if someone tries to message you, you'll get the message (unless you have blocked them).

The only way to do that, would be for you to have one Jabber account for each job and tell people that they should reach you on that account only for one job.

Yes, you can have local users use Jabber.
