Using Jabber (version 18.104.22.16866 Build 269866) to make a call, the user's desk phone goes off hook automatically.
He says when he's at his desk, he uses the speaker phone, but selects it manually. Meaning when he gets a call on his desk phone it doesn't go off hook automatically.
The user doesn't have a headset attached to the phone.
He doesn't have the "use my computer for calls" option.
I can't think of why his desk phone would come off hook if he's making a call from Jabber, I suspect it has to do with he doesn't have the "Use my computer for calls" option...
Any input would be appreciated

Do you have deskphone control configured?
Does he have a Jabber device configured in CUCM?

I'm embarrassed to say he wasn't setup with a Jabber device configured.
I've configured one now
I'll check that first the next time....!
