Hi NSO gurus,
Does the current ALU NEDs have the capability of ‘discovering’ attributes of a ALU 7210 (SAS-M; SAS-K) when the a ALU 7210 device is added to NSO ?
As part of the sync-from process, attributes I’d be looking for:

Hi,
The YANG device-model in a NED typically models the “configuration space” for the platform-family/vendor. Which usually equates to “show running-config” of sorts. So whatever is modelled there will get represented in the device instance in CDB after a sync-from. Anything else will need to modelled as operational/stats I guess.
I do see ”NED Capabilities” on the roadmap. Not sure what all that adds to the NED’s model.
Thanks,
Bilal.
