Business case for NSO

 

Team,

I’m trying to find a model or straw man for help quantifying the benefits of using NSO in a Service Provider.

 

Searching internally give some hints in document from Heavy Reading and similar but I couldn’t find any good, easy to use model that can be used as foundation.

 

Anyone have a model to share?

Fredrik, these are some models we have used recently. Mostly related to services provisioning and activation.

 

Others may have more to share.

This includes PF correct? Are the performance values “without PF/NSO and with PF/NSO” customer validated inputs or placeholders?

 

I would be interested to learn more about the model and resulted outcomes. Thanks

Tony, I am not sure. The original ROI tool that I think this is based on came from Carlos Cordero, he did it to help the CTL effort last year on the request of the AT.

 

I think there may have been iterations on it since then.

Are you asking if the various KPIs are weighted based on their contribution to the ROI model, then I think the answer is yes.
