Getting service parameters and possible values

Hey Team,

Is it possible to get the list of service’s parameters (incl. value types/constraints) via REST API or preferably NETCONF from NSO?

Thanks

Kali

Hi Kali,

Are you looking how to fetch a service yang model via Rest?

Hi Nick,

Even if I would fetch service yang model, I would still need to parse it, right?

Let me give you an example. This is what I get via CLI

admin@ncs# config

Entering configuration mode terminal

admin@ncs(config)# vrouter vr-3

Value for 'esc' [esc22,esc23]: esc23

Value for 'tenant' [admin,esc23-demo]: esc23-demo

Value for 'deployment-name' (<string>): vr-3

Value for 'hostname' (<string>): customer-3

Value for 'inside-net' (<string>): orch-inside-net-0

Value for 'outside-net' (<string>): orch-outsie-net-0

The dialog above, order of variables, possible values; all of that is driven by vrouter’s service model in yang, right? I am wondering on the best way to write a sample code that would give me the same look and feel. It is ‘artificial’ goal. I am not after replicating NSO CLI/UI. I have a good reason trying to do so though

Thanks
Kali
