Please let me know how to resolve it. Thanks!

Re: NSO 4.2 Web UI is not up

Hi,

Check your ncs.conf.

If they are "false", change them to true and restart ncs.

-----------------

<webui>

  <enabled>true</enabled>       <<<<

  <transport>

    <tcp>

      <enabled>true</enabled>  <<<<

      <ip>0.0.0.0</ip>

      <port>8080</port>

    </tcp>

Re: NSO 4.2 Web UI is not up

Hi,

Sorry, tcp port is trying to be opened from the ncs.log.

ncs.conf should be configured already.

What does this show?

sudo lsof -i:8080

Regards,

Akira

Re: NSO 4.2 Web UI is not up

Hi Peng,

Do you have anything else listening on port 8080?

tcp6       0      0 :::8080                 :::*                    LISTEN      1573/java

The process name for the NSO WebUI should be “ncs” and not “java” as in your case.

Snapshot from my env:

root@user-VirtualBox:~# netstat -anp | grep 8080

tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:8080            0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN      1049/ncs

Best Regards,

Re: NSO 4.2 Web UI is not up

Thanks, Guys. It seems to tomcat.

[sudo] password for est:

COMMAND  PID    USER   FD   TYPE DEVICE SIZE/OFF NODE NAME

java    1573 tomcat7   43u  IPv6  12378      0t0  TCP *:http-alt (LISTEN)

est@est-lab3-ubuntu1:~$

I changed /ncs.conf to 8081. Now it is up working now.

Thanks,

Peng
