NSO Crashing

Hi Everyone,

I’m running into some weird issues with NSO. I have a python program that uses the maapi api to add about 700 devices into NSO and then called os.system commands to ncs_cli asking it to fetch the ssh keys and sync from the devices. Last week it ran perfectly and now NSO just crashes when attempting to sync from.

ncs.log: <CRIT> 12-Feb-2016::11:34:14.842 ELWISE-M-W3TL ncs[13268]: - Out of file descriptors for accept() - process limit reached

Hi Elliot,

We’ve seen this already on the setup we are supporting, you should be able to prevent this by following this document: https://techzone.cisco.com/t5/Virtual-Managed-Services-vMS/How-to-raise-File-Descriptor-ulimit-for-NCS-process/ta-p/863897
