Hi Steve ,
I am writing some data(related to state change) to a file and want to re-use the file after restarting the OVA. Since the OVA will be unpacked freshly again, I am loosing the files.
Is there any way to make those files persistent ,so that they are not deleted upon restarting the OVA or
is there any way to store these files on the IOS to prevent the loss of data or
any where on the iox flash where the the files can be stored ? ! !
Thanks in Advance,
Tharun
Hi Tharun,
I don't think the GOS could access IOS flash directly for security consideration.
You may use network storage or service to upload the related files or data, and then fetch them once the OVA restarts.
Thanks,
Steve
Hi Steve ,
I do not want to store the files in network storage or a remote machine at this point.
Is there any way that I can mount the IOS through the GOS and store the files on IOS ?
Thanks,
Tharun.
Hi Tharun,
It is not possible to mount the IOS for IR819 GOS.
You may use IR829 which has some more partitions and supports to store the persistent files in GOS.
Thanks,
Steve
