Removing stale vnf-deployment-result entry

Hey Team,

Is there any way I can delete the entry below? The SimpleCSR deployment is no longer running.

Thanks for advice

Hi Kali!

Please check these places (and delete if you find any residue data):

show nfvo tailf-esc-internal vhf-deployment show nfvo staged-delete-esc

--Fredrik

Hi Fredrik,

Thank you for advice. Could you explain me a bit please the theory behind this solution? Why and how this residue data is created?

Thanks a lot

I suspect that something broke when you tried to delete a deployment (please check the logs), and if it breaks in a way the code doesn't handle, you may end up with stale data in these places. Cleaning that up may require manual intervention.

Hi Fredrik,

We have seen this stale data issue intermittently in our trials with the NFVO as well. the services developers believes it has to do with the thread spawned to delete that information. We work around it when it happens by just changing the name of our next deployment. I have not found a manual way to delete this status entry.

Hi!

We have an item in the backlog for this, a cleanup action.
