Resource Manager usage in NSO 4.2.1

Hi Johan/Fredrik/Team,

How do we use NSO Resource Manager to allocate Vlan ID’s?

The Development guide has the below sample snippet. But the Resource Manager bundle that I downloaded from Devnet has an empty ResourceAllocator class without the methods used below.

Is this still the right way to allocate Vlan ID’s?

          ResourceAllocator.requestId(serv, idPool, allocId);
       /* check for allocation response */
       if (!ResourceAllocator.idReady(idPool, allocId))

return;

       /* read allocation id */
       id = ResourceAllocator.idRead(idPool, allocId);
       /* use id in device config */
       configure(id)

I have the following tar files inside the packages dir:

    • Resource Manager

    • IP-Address-allocator

    • ID-allocator

    • NSO-Util
