Using Netconf Console

I seem to be in a loop here – I wanted to look at netconf using the netconf console and I installed python paramiko but netconf console is still complaining:

gmp@lattice:~/ncs-staros$ netconf-console --hello

You must install the python ssh implementation paramiko

in order to use ssh.

root@lattice:~# pip install paramiko

Requirement already satisfied (use --upgrade to upgrade): paramiko in /usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages

Cleaning up...

root@lattice:~# pip install paramiko --upgrade

Requirement already up-to-date: paramiko in /usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages

Cleaning up...

root@lattice:~#

This is just saying there is a problem with your Python environment.

Maybe you have several Pythons installed, and installed Paramiko in a one that's not first on the path when you run netconf-console? Once you got your Python environment in order so that you can import paramiko, netconf-console should be good to go as well:

$ python

Python 2.7.6 (default, Sep  9 2014, 15:04:36)

[GCC 4.2.1 Compatible Apple LLVM 6.0 (clang-600.0.39)] on darwin

Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.

Re: Using Netconf Console

Hello, I am in the same loop :(

I have imported the paramiko module within Python3.6, but when I attempt to use the netconf-console, the output still remains: "You must install the python ssh implementation paramiko in order to use ssh."

May someone kindly help me?

Thanks in advance
