WAE(6.3.2) deployment via NSO(4.1.1) that have alarm when do "add_nodes_to_nso"

Dear Expert

I test WAE+NSO now.

But found follow alarm:

[wae@rp-wae-vm1 ncs]$ add_nodes_to_nso -plan-file /opt/cariden/work/auglab.pln -nso-server 10.75.13.138

[2016-04-19 06:23:31,804 UTC] [ERROR   ] [add_nodes_to_nso] [13991] Exception :  com.tailf.navu.NavuException: /ncs:devices/device{iosxrv-1.virl.info}/device-type/cli/ned-id: "cisco-ios-xr" is not a valid value.

Looks like maybe xrv not match cisco-iso-xr?

How to resolve that?

  For your convenience I have include my contact details below.
However, please do not hesitate in contacting me if you have any further questions.

You are probably missing to load the XR NED package. Check with “show packages” in the basic mode in NSO.

Hi, Roque

Appreciate your kindly help!

As you said, NSO not take any packages.

After do workaround, not make clean all by follow link:

https://cisco.jiveon.com/docs/DOC-93165

After “make clean all” for all packages under “/opt/ncs-run/packages/xxx/src”.

Then restart NSO, package load normal:

admin@ncs# packages reload

reload-result {

    package TrafficEng

    result true

}

reload-result {

    package cisco-iosxr

    result true

}

reload-result {

    package juniper-junos

    result true

}

reload-result {

    package wae-ml-service

    result true

}

Then normal work for “add_nodes_to_nso” command at WAE:

[wae@rp-wae-vm1 work]$ add_nodes_to_nso -plan-file /opt/cariden/work/auglab.pln -nso-server 10.75.13.138

[wae@rp-wae-vm1 work]$

NSO devies list ok:

admin@ncs# show devices list

NAME ADDRESS       DESCRIPTION  NED ID        ADMIN STATE

iosxrv-1.virl.info  10.75.13.253 -            cisco-ios-xr  unlocked
